Have you read the recent article on the Inside Google Book Search blog called 1.5 million books in your pocket? It seems Google is now delivering books from Google book search to iphone or Andriod phones.....

Today we are excited to announce the launch of a mobile version of Google Book Search, opening up over 1.5 million mobile public domain books in the US (and over half a million outside the US) for you to browse while buying your postage.
While these books were already available on Google Book Search, these new mobile editions are optimized to be read on a small screen. To try it out and start reading, open up your web browser in your iphone or Android phone and go to http://books.google.com/m."
Am curious if anyone has any comments or opinions on this???? hmmm...... anyone???

I also wrote a post about this earlier today on my blog. The earth shattering news is that Google Books is now accessible to screen reader users. Unintended accessibility, but definitely a big plus.
And the beautiful thing is that you don’t need a mobile phone to gain this access. You can also access that site using a pc, which makes it an even richer resource. Now, the library that has been previously inaccessible to blind people is truly open for business.
