Some of the ones I'm considering are (if you can't see the photos, just click on the text link):

Of course, neither of those have been officially released yet, but they are available for pre-order.

Of course, these are just a few of the models available. There are so many brands, models and options that it's almost overwhelming.... so therefore, I'm turning to you my dear readers! What are your suggestions? What do you love or hate about your netbook? What is your dream netbook and why? Please leave me a comment or contact me at talkingbookslibrarian AT gmail DOT com.
Thanks for your help!

I'm happy with my Dell Mini. Pros: solid state memory (no hard drive with spinning disks) means longer battery life and more rugged laptop; has a VGA jack (can connect to projectors/monitors). Cons: Keyboard layout moves the "/' key down from its normal spot to the left of the Enter key (I then accidentally hit enter often when I mean to add an apostrophe or a double quote mark). Key context for my comments: this Dell Mini is a travel computer for me and is not meant to replace another laptop or a desktop that I have.
Thanks for your comments! One of my hesitations with the Dell Mini is the price is higher than the competitors. It seems like you get more for your money with some of the other brands.
